This Moment is a short experimental film about one woman's journey from her dream city of NY back to her hometown of snowy Quebec after her visa expires. A meditation on belonging, dreams and memories, the film is structured as a social experiment where two sets of friends in Quebec and NYC are posed existential and hyper-personal questions as a way of understanding Mimi's mental space in transition between both of those places. Directed, written, produced, and filmed by Mériem Dehbi-Talbot and Julia Gorbach.

SOS POUTINE is a short film about the many imperfections of a Sunday spent with a hangover and how your best friend can help you cure it all
Selected by major industry professional judges as a top-3 finalist, Nespresso Talent 2018, screened at the Toronto International Film Festival
Nespresso Talents is a platform for talented filmmakers. They were challenged to make a 3mns film giving them the power to tell any story, and shot in vertical format (9:16), breaking the convention of the usual viewing experience. More than 360 videos were submitted from over 40 countries. "SOS POUTINE" has been selected by a Canadian jury composed of Sangita Patel, Maxine Bailey and Sylvie Charette. The 3 rewarded videos of the Nespresso Talents Canadian contest were announced at Cannes Film Festival 2018 on May 11th.
